It has been a looooooong while since I've done anything with this website, but I can assure you that we're open.
Do you love zines so much that besides making and reading them, you also want to play card games about them? Well you are in luck then because after years of being a DIY project, zine making extraordinaire Billy McCall went big time and had his Zine Game creation professionally made. Plenty of fun times to be had for any zinester.
The zine series that made me love Billy McCall is compiled in book form and out now. Issues 1-8 right here in vol. 1. $15 with shipping butt you do get 368 pages of fun, plus it's still small enough to fit in some pockets. Check out the store for more!
William Patrick Tandy of Smile Hon, You're From Baltimore fame is back at it with a new ode, this one to the Jersey Shore. The real Jersey Shore, not that fake ass TV show. No one person can handle a topic as unique as the Shore, so he enlisted the help of nine friends to tell their tales as well. Searching for tortilla's in Manasquan, causing trouble at the boardwalk, being a BENNY and many more fun and fascinating topics and are discussed here.
I teased this zine on a podcast over nine months ago and finally birthed it today. 4-1/4", 20 pages and his staples look just like his mothers. Check it out in the store.
New in from Roostercow Press are two zines all about used records and tapes. Issue one features Chris Auman and Mike Dixon, in issue #2 they bring in some friends like zine superstars Liz Mason and Billy McCall. Check out the store for more details.
Last year's Wordies were so fun, I ran it back another time. Enjoy!
60 flags reviewed and ranked by your favorite zinester's favorite zinester Billy McCall, along with guest articles by Ed Kemp, Markell West and Donna Ramone, a cover by Anna Jo Beck and a forward written by Roman freakin' Mars. It does not get any better than this!
